Catherine Stroud is a Local Galveston Texas Singer/Songwriter who began teaching herself to sing and play guitar 5 years ago. Passioned by music all her life, she was no longer content just to sit and listen! She now shuffles between guitar and 8-string ukulele, performing either acoustically or with a loop pedal to incorporate multiple instruments at once.

Influenced by singers such as Nina Simone and the French Edith Piaf, she uses her songs to explore a variety of emotions and particularly enjoys building up waves of textured sound in her more electronic sets.

Catherine is also a visual artist, with paintings in local art galleries and restaurants as well as colorful murals throughout Galveston, Texas.
