Jypsy Rose Showtime
Jypsy Rose brings Texas Music back to life. Born in Texas City, Texas Jypsy takes all Texas Southern Music influences and combines them for a distinct sound. Her soulful southern singing style brings back the very spirit of “original music” Emanating feeling in her storytelling, as an artist, and energetic entertainer, what a musical genius she has become, writing and composing/producing her own material, Jypsy sets a new bar for male and female entertainers everywhere.
Jypsy began singing in a family band in 1998 hired to perform for weddings, funerals, anniversaries, and family reunions until in 2002 she took a break to have children and raise them. But Jypsy came back to the stage in 2013 and started a band called Wild Cactus Rose performing at night clubs, festivals, weddings, and corporate events. Almost immediately, Jypsy Rose’s songs ranked #1 in Worldwide Country charts and Independent Artist charts, and #1 in New Zealand with her Wild Cactus Rose Release in 2014, and at the beginning of 2015, Wild Cactus Rose Band broke up. Jypsy spent the next year touring as an acoustic duo performing at rodeos, festivals, and radio listening rooms. At the end of 2016, Wild Cactus Rose Band came back together and are hitting the road once again.
Since her performance at Walker County Rodeo 2013, Jyspy has contributed her enthusiasm for musical progress to the community. Across many Texas Festival in 2014& 2015 Jypsy met the challenge of performing for 60,000+ children and families from everywhere in the Houston McDonald’s Children’s Festival. San Antonio Rodeo 2015, CMA 2015, Urban Cowboy Movie Reunion 2016 found Jypsy’s performance by request and left with standing ovations.
Having studied Theater in a private school under the late Linda Lawrence-Winters from 2010-12, Jypsy brings her theatrical experience to the stage and it finally led to Jypsy’s role in “An Uncanny Original” Episode 5 performance and future acting roles set for film in August of this year.

Bruce Robison with special guest Kevin Anthony and G Town
March 2, 2018, 8:30pm - March 3, 2018, 12:00pm
Bruce Robison has been making music professionally for decades. He still discusses his craft with so much enthusiasm he sounds almost like a kid raving about superheroes. That infectious energy is evident in every note of his new album, Bruce Robison & the Back Porch Band, as well as his new project, The Next Waltz, a blossoming community of artists, fans and friends gathering both virtually and at his recording studio in Lockhart, just outside of Austin.
In both cases, the point is to celebrate country music’s rich traditions while giving creativity free rein to go where it might, as long as it’s somewhere worth traveling. It’s also about celebrating Robison’s “love of the craft of song.”
Take a little Peggy Sue, Cajun fiddle, jumping sawdust and mama
too for the latest release from Kevin Anthony and G-Town.
Jump the Fence is the 10th album from this South Texas boy born where the Gulf Coast waters flow, but he’s got a little French Cajun somewhere in him too.
Anthony’s songs are well crafted and timeless. Add to the mix an old timer or two, Hill County gals, twangy guitars, and weeping pedal steel, and you get the kind of music that your Grandpa would’ve listened to, the kind of music that takes you back to the good old days of good time radio. Everything’s a little bit sweet, not too spicy and a tasty bowl of gumbo mixed in there too. You can’t help but tap your foot and slap your knee. Oh, and he can sing it all in French too.
